I'm not really a coffee person. I prefer tea, and I know a lot of fellow writers love tea, too. But have you ever wanted to break out of the Early Grey or English Breakfast norm and try something new? Well, let me help you find some cool new teas! If you need a little hot and flavorful boost to help you reach your writing goal or you're just a lover of tea or you'd like to try some tea but aren't fond of the stereotypical types, these Tea Tuesday posts are for you.
This weeks tea is ...
*drum roll*
Plantation Mint
How I found it: This is an old favorite of mine. Years ago my parents got it for me by accident when I wanted Peppermint tea. Though I didn't like it at first, I've grown fond of it. It's one of my favorite teas, and I drink it often.
The Tea: Plantation Mint is made by the company
Bigelow. It is a mix of black tea and peppermint. It has a light minty fresh taste that's calming with a black tea underlying flavor. I often drink it at night to help me relax while writing.

I'm putting this Tom Hiddleston gif here because
well who doesn't like a gif with Tom Hiddleston and tea? |
Serving Recommendations: This tea is mild enough so you can leave the tea bag in for as long as you want, or just keep it in for the regular 2-3 minute recommendation. I like it with sugar and cream. The cream provides a creamy mint taste.
How much is it and where can you get it? This is an inexpensive tea. Though you can buy directly from the Bigelow website, I usually purchase mine at Walmart. You can also find it at Kroger and Publix.
So how good is it? I give it five stars. I love this tea. ^ ^
Have you tried this tea? What did you think of it?
