When two of my favorite YouTube comedians Rhett and Link announced they were writing a book a couple years ago I knew I had to read it ... cause I'm a big fan. I'm not a huge fan of this brand of non-fiction though, but I figure since it's these two it's gotta be good. After getting distracted by novels for a while, I finally finished this book! I've also had to change my review formatting since this is non-fiction, so here goes!

Thoughts: One thing that's so endearing about Rhett and Link is how much they share about their lives with their viewers and act silly and goofballish and just authentically. You feel like they're your best friends even though you never met them in person. They continue this close feel by revealing even more stories about their childhoods and family in their book. The Book of Mythicality is a conglomeration of all of the wisdom, wit, and wackiness they've accumulated after doing this show for 15 seasons and with a near life long friendship together. You'll get the most out of it if you're a long time fan and you can get some of the inside jokes that you only know from watching every episode. XD

Theme: Despite all of the jokes that had me snickering, this book is uplifting. It's about living a life where you push yourself, let your imagination go wild, and live authentically. Each chapter has a theme with the goal to inspire you.

Content Cautions: H*** is mentioned twice and d*** once when Rhett and Link quote some people from their past.

Conclusion: This isn't normally my favorite sort of book but the design and premise were fun. Three stars!
